bm_2555_europe_desc:0 "Western Europe has been for decades the fighting ground of Christianity and Paganism. As the French united under the Novelist Empire of Numenor, Catholic, Sevillians and Protestants fought them and each other to achieve hegemony on the land. However, ages of war worn out the great Kingdoms and Empires, causing many to fall and break. Meanwhile, on the British Isles, the new power of Thelema, the British Empire, was growing more and more, until they finally brought down Numenor and conquered France. What is to come for Western Europe in the future? Will the Cross rule the land once more, or will the shadow of Thelema force all under the Will of the Queen?"

bm_2555_europe_desc:0 "For centuries, Western Europe has been a battleground between Christianity and the many new religions that have risen from the ashes of the pre-Event world. As France reunited under the Empire of Númenor, Christians fought them and amongst each other for hegemony. However, decades of strife wore out the great realms of the mainland, causing many to break. Meanwhile, the British Isles were reunited by a resurgent empire and powerful occult religion known as “Thelema”, which soon defeated the weakened Númenor and conquered much of northern France. Where does Western Europes future lay? Can Christianity rule this land once more, or is it destined to become subject to the unrelenting Will of the Queen?"
start_year_2555_01_01_desc:0 "In the year 2555 AD, five and a half centuries since the apocalypse known now as the "Event", civilization has rebuilt itself. Yet, times are always changing; warlords and empires rise and fall overtop the bones of those that came before as history marches on."

game_concept_neow_the_event_desc: "Occurring sometime around the turn of the millennium, the mysterious Event heralded the sudden end of the Old World. Nobody knows what really happened, for it was so terrible that millions upon millions of lives were lost to conflict and disease, along with most of mankind's achievements. Many theories appeared over the centuries, attributing the destruction to great plagues, fires in the sky, and the wrath of gods. Those that did live to tell the tale likely refused to for their own sanity's sake."

Old Thelemites claim to be practising their faith as originally dictated by the prophet Crowley. They reject the position of the Lord Protectors as regents of the Queen, considering mainstream Thelemite beliefs to be a perversion of the goddess Nuit. Old Thelemites do not believe Nuit is to return to Earth to rule Britannia, and instead consider the British Empire to be a theologically oppressive state, hellbent on spreading their faith and state to all corners of the Earth, making them no different than the Church. This stance was cause for a massive civil war in Britain in the 23rd century, which led to their marginalisation from society. As such, Old Thelemites only persist in the fringes of Britain, and instead focus their practice on the personal will of the individual, acting to discover their True Will."
