orleaniste_desc:0 "Founded as a Catholic holy order back when the Church still controlled swathes of France, centuries of Novelist domination have left a defining mark on the Knights of Saint Jeanne. According to legend, Joan of Arc was given the sword Joyeuse by the angel Marianne, smiting the Beast as instructed by Saint Michael in a battle of Heaven and Earth. Vengeful, the followers of Therion bewitched the Pope into branding Joan a heretic, executing her and tarnishing her legacy for years to come. Though the Church has officially absolved Joan and canonised her as a Saint in Heaven, her loyal followers haven't forgotten the treachery committed against her by the forces of Satan and the Church itself, and their growing zeal over the years culminated in their excommunication from the Church on accusations of heresy. Accepting that they cannot count on the Church for protection, the Knights of Saint Jeanne have grown increasingly militant over the years, organising themselves and expanding their ranks. They now turn their eyes to Albion, resurrected worshippers of the Crowned Beast, its followers returning all these years later to feast on the flesh of the faithful."

He wrote the Book of the Law, as guided by the angel Aiwass, and from there dictated the guiding principle of the faith, 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.' Centuries later, Thelemic religions are organised into Lodges, defined by various distinct movements and beliefs. They may not always get along, but all strive to live by the Law."

The Queen rules over the cosmos and is the source of all energy and matter in the world. In her stead, the Empire is ruled by the Lord Protectors, eternal regents of Her Majesty for time immemorial. When Crowley founded Thelema, he declared the Aeon of Horus, lasting until the founding of the Royal Thelemic Lodges. The election of the first Lord Protector marked the beginning of the Aeon of Ma'at, marked by Britannia's eternal dominion over the waves."
